Walk - even if it is a struggle to get started   10/01/06

At this point in time I have not been walking much. I can definately tell the difference. When I walked regularly, everything was better. Now I do not feel as good, I have started to put on weight and yes I do get depressed. My Goal is Stop my bad habits here and now and begin my walking program again and stay with the plan. I am 67 and Want to Feel better. In a few weeks or months, I will enter a new report on myself. I promise myself, it will be better than this one.

I'd rather walk than "exercise"   11/21/05

If you can find the self discipline to stick with it I can tell you from experience that you'll be glad you did. I definitely felt better when I walked, and on the days where I really had to push myself to do it I almost always felt better after I came back, but I'll also be the first to admit that it's just as hard to stick with as most of the other things that are "good for us" i.e. eating right, getting enough sleep, etc.
