Ribose keeps symptoms at bay most of the time   01/26/09

Well, after I was diagnosed with fibro, I decided to test d-ribose, a type of sugar, because some years ago I cured recurrent urinary infections with d-mannose, another great natural sugar, so I believed in this type of treatment. And d-ribose proved it works very weel for fibro symptoms. It gives you plenty of energy and most of the time I forget I have fibro! I fell very well, no pain, just a little little bit really "hidden", so that 's why I do not say 100% of improvement, but it is just as if the symptoms were reduced by 90%, which is really wonderful. Try it, it is worthwhile. But choose the supplier very well, you have to find pure d-ribose. I buy from www.sweetcures.com. It takes a week or two for the effects to become really obvious. I am not advertising for anyone here, I feel glad I can share something that really works with more people. I hope I help someone here with my testimony.

Finally help for my fibro   02/22/08
Reviewed by:     Location Not Given
After battling the pain of Fibro for 7 years and trying all sorts of therapies and prescribed drugs, none of which really worked well or were worth the side effects,I heard about D-Ribose in a magazine and decided to give it a try. I have only been taking it for a couple of weeks and I have already noticed a change in my energy level and ability ro recover more quickly from exercise. I am hoping that it will continue to help me and I will keep this website posted with my progress. My initial bottle seemed expensive, but I shopped online and managed to get a really good deal on some chewable tablets so I will be able to afford the treatment after all. Hopefully the feeling of being thrown against a brick wall will be gone!

Ribose or D-Ribose   12/14/06
Reviewed by:     Location Not Given
I used to feel like a stunt double for Wil E. Coyote --- deep muscle pain and stiffness as if I'd been beaten with a ballpean hammer, repeatedly blown up, fallen off of a cliff, etc. Apparently its because of a "depletion of cellular energy pools, leading to muscle pain, soreness and stiffness". Ribose is (from what I've read) a main source of energy for cells and fibromyalgia is a symptom of a lack of that energy source. You can read all the technical stuff with an on-line search. I take 2 to 4 grams a day depending on my activity levels. I no longer have that deep muscle pain that never seems to go away and it helps overcome fatigue and reduces muscle pain/ soreness, and stiffness. Since I have less pain, I can exercise more, my fibrofog has diminished significantly, and my mood is elevated, and my seemingly unreasonable irritability has subsided. Ribose is a type of sugar so diabetics and hypoglycemics beware -- Check with your doctors. Its available in powder or pill form and is available on-line for less than $13.00 for 100 grams plus shipping. There are Ribose concoctions specifically targeted for fibromyalgia but appear to be pricey. I may try a few just to see if they work even better than the Ribose by itself.
