HFCS is pure evil   05/17/10
Reviewed by:     Boulder, Colorado, USA
When high fructose corn syrup first became available in the 1970, I quickly learned to avoid it like the plague. HFCS would launch me into a deep depression, give me awe-full headaches and insomnia and aggravate my IBS. I simply cannot understand why most people don't get sick as a dog after eating it. I do. I think HFCS is the invention of the devil and is designed to get people to experience hell even before they die an early death because of it.

Exclude all HFCS always   09/17/08
Reviewed by:     Location Not Given
High fructose corn syrup cannot be metabolised by fibromyalgics without painful and energy-sapping measures by the body. In the production of HFCS, chemical bonds are broken by applying enzymes and heating and cooling. The body cannot handle HFCS at the point of metabolism. No problem with digestion that first day or two -- just metabolism. The word fibromyalgia cannot be found in any medical dictionary published prior to 1970 (coincidentally the point at which HFCS began to be added to food and beverages)
